Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health and substance use issues.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
- Collect information from various sources to enable the provision of appropriate nursing care.
- Communicate and consult with members of the healthcare team about patients' care.
- Act as an advocate to protect and promote patients' rights to autonomy, respect, privacy, dignity, and access to information.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and research by identifying patient care issues and collecting data.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- May require completion of substance use certificate program.
