Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Right Choice Builders Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects.
- Design and Layout: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and prepare layouts in accordance with building codes.
- Construction and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware to complete construction projects.
- Project Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, survey building locations and levels, and instruct apprentices as needed.
- Quality Control: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including commercial and residential projects.
- Education and Training: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; willingness to train.
- Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy, dusty, and outdoors environments.
- Work Setting: Experience working in construction, renovation, commercial, and residential settings.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work long hours, and meet tight deadlines.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, judgment, reliability, team player, values and ethics, and punctuality.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 35 hours per week.
- English Language: Primary language of work.
