Program Director Middlesex County

The School Age Director Middlesex County is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a licensed childcare centre. This includes staffing, family engagement, financial matters, inclusive programming, and YMCA quality outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have an Early Childhood Educator Diploma or related field of study, combined with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience within a childcare environment. Registration in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) and valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification are also required.
Salary and Benefits- Members of the College of Early Childhood Educators, Ontario - $56,979 to $57,954 annual (includes Government Wage Enhancements)
- Non-Members - $53,079 to $54,044 (includes Government Wage Enhancements)

- Oversee and support day-to-day operations of the centre
- Lead implementation of an inclusive play-based curriculum that includes How Does Learning Happen and the YMCA Curriculum
- Evaluate program quality as required utilizing audit tools and quality initiatives
- Maintain accurate records, files and forms as required by the Ministry of Education and YMCA of Southwestern Ontario
- An Early Childhood Educator Diploma or related field of study, combined with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience within a childcare environment
- Registration in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Ability to use frequent light to medium physical effort: lifting to 20 kg (44 lbs.), bending, and stooping
