Child Care Centre Manager

The School Age Director Middlesex County is a key leadership position within the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare services and programs that meet the needs of children and families in the community.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team and contribute to the development of healthy communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to achieve quality outcomes in childcare programming
- Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality childcare services and programs
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with parents, community partners, and other stakeholders
- An Early Childhood Educator Diploma or related field of study, combined with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience within a childcare environment
- Registration in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs.) and perform tasks requiring frequent light to medium physical effort
