Job Summary

Farah Market Express is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, store, update and retrieve financial data, and prepare monthly statements.
  • Benefits Administration: Complete and submit documentations for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment and medical insurance.
  • Employee Communication: Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain payroll records, employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems.
  • Reporting: Prepare T4 statements and other statements.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
