We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) to join our team at Medavie Health Services West in Saskatoon, SK. As an EMR, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safety of patients and colleagues.

About the Role

This is a temporary full-time position that requires the successful candidate to work efficiently as a member of the team and possess strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate must be a registered EMR with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics or willing to obtain, and submit with their resume a copy of a valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver's License, current CPR certification, and a current criminal record check along with a vulnerable sector check.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain personal knowledge and skills in accordance with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics EMR Clinical Practice Protocols to deliver optimum patient care.
  • Safely operate MHS-West vehicles in accordance with MHS-West Health and Safety Manual, Operational Guidelines, and all provincial and federal regulations.
  • Stocks and maintains vehicles in a state of readiness at all times.
  • Work in hazardous environments to ensure the safety and stabilization of the patient.
  • Document all patient care, assessments, and skills within the patient care report in a timely fashion.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
