Aecon Concessions is seeking a skilled Planning/Scheduling Lead to join our Urban Transportation Solutions group. As a Planning/Scheduling Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects by developing and maintaining project schedules, forecasting resource requirements, and implementing Earned Value Management plans.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure integrity of data across the project life cycle.
- Forecast resource requirements, including labor, materials, and equipment, based on work front analysis.
- Establish productivity basis for estimates, in concurrence with Construction.
- Prepare progress reports and dashboards to provide project status updates to internal and external clients.
- Implement and maintain Earned Value Management plans to measure project performance, identify variances, and inform accurate forecasting.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of scheduling/planning experience.
- Proven experience and ability in planning, scheduling, and managing complex projects, heavy civil or LRT preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management principles.
- Proven ability to effectively lead project planning and scheduling staff.
