Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Cole Haan LLC. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the implementation of initiatives and achievement of goals and objectives, with a focus on Operations, Brand, and Talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and achieve sales goals through effective implementation of revenue-building strategies.
  • Develop and coach staff to exceed individual and store goals, including coaching and development of the sales lead team.
  • Provide a world-class shopping experience through the effective execution of Extraordinary Brand Selling and Service Culture and Concierge Program.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to ensure ongoing coaching and feedback are provided to staff.
  • Assist with recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of all store positions.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving all financial and operational objectives, including expense control, Loss Prevention audits, and weekly reports.
  • Assist with store scheduling, payroll control, and leading the store to achieve sales and EBITDA objectives in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Execute and follow all company policies and procedures to make sound business decisions and communicate with staff.
  • Partner with the Store Manager on visual merchandising directives and maintain standards consistent with company brand strategies.
  • Communicate with Store Manager and Corporate partners regarding product mix, trends, and needs.

Requirements

  • Full-time position
  • BA in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • At least 2-3 years of high-volume store management experience
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long/short shifts
  • Retail operations knowledge, including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation, and loss prevention
  • Strong computer skills, including POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Staff development experience, including staffing, coaching, counseling, training, and development
  • Able to accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment
  • Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English
