Job Summary

The University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientist to join our team at the Krembil Research Institute. As a Scientist, you will be responsible for initiating and maintaining an original, competitive, and independently funded research program of international caliber.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a research program in the area of neuroscience as it pertains to the visual system
  • Teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Qualify for an academic cross-appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor at the University of Toronto
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Significant postdoctoral research experience and an established record of research excellence
  • Evidence of successful research funding, publications in leading journals, presentations at significant conferences, and increasing leadership experience in directing a research team
