Job Description

At Humans of HR, we're seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join our team and drive strategic HR initiatives. This full-time position is based in a remote location outside of Edmonton, with relocation assistance provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business goals and support organizational culture.
  • Partner with site leadership to anticipate and meet current and future HR needs.
  • Lead key HR functions, including talent management, succession planning, total rewards, and employee development.
  • Oversee the implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organizational standards.
  • Manage departmental budgets, including employee cost forecasting and expense control.
Requirements:
  • A post-secondary degree in Human Resources or Business Management.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a mid-to-senior management role.
  • A strong understanding of Alberta employment law and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage conflicts and lead through change.
Compensation:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
