Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

Job Summary:

Churchill Health Centre is seeking a reliable and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients and residents with everyday activities under the supervision of the Manager of Patient Care.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and residents.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Successful completion of a healthcare training program.
  • Current CPR Certification required and updated annually.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of patient contact.
  • May be required to lift heavy objects or push/pull equipment.
  • May be exposed to infectious diseases or hazardous materials.
