Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

Job Summary:

Churchill Health Centre is seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients and residents with everyday activities under the supervision of the Manager of Patient Care.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and residents.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help with mealtime and snack preparation.
  • Participate in activities and programs designed to promote physical and mental well-being.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Support Worker or in a related field is an asset.
  • Successful completion of a Healthcare Support Worker training program.
  • Current CPR Certification required and updated annually.

Working Conditions:

  • May involve heavy lifting and bending.
  • May require working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • May involve exposure to clients with aggressive behavior.
