Sample Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Sample Logistics Coordinator is an entry-level position responsible for the reception, setup, and movement of samples. This role is part of the logistics chain and reports to the Logistics Supervisor and other logistics team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unpack samples from clients and couriers
- Ensure samples are properly set up and prepared for laboratory analysis
- Deliver samples to the laboratory in a timely manner
- Notify relevant parties of any sample integrity issues
- Process incoming non-sample deliveries
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- No prior logistics experience required
- Basic computer skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service experience an asset
