We are seeking an experienced Senior Creative Director - Visual Communications to join our team at Winston Hawthorne & Co.
About the Role
This is a permanent full-time opportunity that will see you working closely with our clients to conceptualize and execute visually stunning communications solutions across various mediums.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of graphic designers and illustrators, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow in their roles
- Evaluate the scope of projects, estimating time and resources required to deliver high-quality results
- Collaborate with clients to understand their brand identity and goals, developing tailored visual communications strategies to meet their needs
- Oversee all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, and electronic materials, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality
- Establish creative guidelines for in-house artists and freelancers, promoting consistency and excellence in our work
- Create sketches, layouts, and graphic elements that bring concepts to life
Work Environment and Conditions
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines. However, we offer a supportive team culture that encourages open communication and collaboration.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior role, preferably in visual communications
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with ability to motivate and guide a team
- Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and typography
- Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
