About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive Director to lead our operations management team in Western Canada.

Job Summary

The Senior Executive Director will be responsible for allocating resources, authorizing department establishment, and coordinating work across regions and departments. They will establish organizational objectives, formulate policies, and represent the organization in official functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate necessary authority and create optimum working conditions.

Supervision and Leadership

The Senior Executive Director will supervise a team of over 20 people and provide strategic direction to ensure the success of the organization.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of operations management principles and practices.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or public administration.

Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and competencies:

  • Database management skills.
  • Inventory control software proficiency.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Security Clearance

Candidates must undergo a criminal record check prior to commencement of employment.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This is a full-time position that requires frequent travel within Western Canada.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $500,001 to $1,500,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
