Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership role within our organization. As a Senior Transformation Director, you will be responsible for driving the operational performance and strategic development of our clinical directorates. This includes ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, robust clinical governance, patient safety, clinical quality, and sustainability targets.

You will work closely with our Chief Operating Officer and executive directors to shape and implement corporate objectives for the Trust. You will also have an external focus, facilitating greater working across systems, places, and neighborhoods. Representing the Trust at a senior level within the NHS and community, you will work closely with partner organizations to achieve integrated working in the best interests of our local population.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the operational performance and strategic development of clinical directorates
  • Work with triumvirate members, other divisions, and executive directors to drive forward corporate and cross-cutting programs of work and service direction
  • Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Triumvirate colleagues to shape and implement corporate objectives for the Trust
  • Have an external focus to facilitate greater working across System, Place, and Neighbourhoods

Requirements:

  • Substantial operational management experience, the majority at senior level
  • Demonstrated success in delivering change and performance improvement with and through others across the organization
  • In-depth professional knowledge in a number of disciplines acquired through training and experience over an extended period
  • Budget management including a number of departmental budgets, budgets of several million pounds, cost savings programs/income generation, and service line costing
  • Experience of transformation programs and delivery of service improvement programs
  • Experience of service development and innovation
  • Proven experience of analyzing complex problems and successfully adapting practical and pragmatic solutions
  • Leadership of a multi-disciplinary team

  • Diplomatic style with political acumen
