Job Description:

About the Position:
  • As the Director, Business Development, you will be responsible for spearheading senior-level B2B sales efforts, driving revenue growth through strategic recruitment and inspiration of a team of Marketing Consultants.

This role requires a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of generating new sales opportunities, experience in recruiting and motivating sales teams, as well as knowledge of marketing strategies and professional networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of Marketing Consultants, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  2. Regularly communicate with Marketing Consultants to motivate and assist with strategy development, offering valuable insights.
  3. Collaborate with Marketing Consultants on customer visits as required, fostering strong relationships with clients.
  4. Craft personalized emails and engage in effective communication with potential clients, leveraging confidence in generating new contacts.
  5. Identify opportunities within our CRM system, utilizing your expertise in customer relations management and business development tactics.
  6. Employ excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal abilities and capacity to build strong, strategic relationships.
  7. Manage multiple projects effectively, balancing attention to detail with a broad perspective, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  8. Leverage MS Office proficiency to streamline tasks and enhance productivity.
  9. Pursue new business opportunities through web research, prospecting, and email tactics, adopting a hunter mentality.
  10. Perform other strategic duties assigned by the Vice President, Business Development.

Requirements:

  • Sales leadership experience with a proven track record of generating new sales opportunities.
  • Experience in recruiting and motivating sales teams.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and professional networks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
