Job Title: Business Solutions Analyst
Job Summary:
Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Analyst to join our team. As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for working with the business to identify gaps and enhancements to our knowledge bases and working with the development team to implement the changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis: Work with the business to identify gaps and enhancements to our knowledge bases and work with the development team to implement the changes.
- Status Reporting: Provide product/project/initiatives status to the product manager and management team and raise any escalated issues promptly.
- Product Implementation: Participate in the product implementation by developing and documenting test cases, performing integration testing, raising defects, and providing end-user documentation for the product changes.
- Enhancements: Identify enhancements for Athena.
- Project Management: Create end-users' stories in JIRA or similar product management software to manage the Agile projects.
- Post-Implementation Support: Provide post-implementation support (Hypercare) by tracking, analyzing, monitoring, and reporting project and application-related problems and issues.
- DevOps: Be an active contributor to designing sustainable DevOps. The Product analyst is required to come up with best practices and procedures.
- Communication: Possess good listening and communication skills to work effectively with end-users and project team members.
Candidate Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant Work Experience: 5-8 years of relevant work in or experience in delivering Technical Products/Business Solutions.
- Business Analysis Experience: 5-8 years of experience in conducting business analysis and documenting business requirements for medium to large-size projects.
- Power BI Experience: 8+ years of experience in generating Power BI presentations from scratch and working with other Microsoft products.
- Systems and Process Knowledge: 5-8 years of experience working with Systems and process knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (Agile) and Project Management.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Prior experience in the following Business lines (CB, GBM, IB).
- Project management and business analysis certificate.
Soft Skills:
- Collaboration in diverse teams and settings.
- Passionate about Innovation and Innovative technologies.
- Ability to work up and down within the organization.
- Excellent written and communication skills to clearly express concepts and ideas.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently with minimal direction.
Best Candidate:
The best candidate is a knowledgeable and experienced candidate who generates Power BI dashboards and can drive projects in a critical state with tough deadlines and work with different teams. The best candidate must have the ability to push for any deliverable without missing deadlines.
Education & Certificates:
Post-secondary education is required but would be preferred in a related field.
