**Job Summary**

Manitoba Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Indigenous Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in recruiting and retaining Indigenous candidates for training programs that can lead to careers in the local aerospace and aviation industries.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies in partnership with the Centre for Aboriginal Human Resource Development (CAHRD) and Neeginan College.
  • Provide support services to trainees/employees, including career counseling and job placement assistance.
  • Raise awareness of the aerospace industry among the Indigenous community and promote an understanding of Indigenous issues for the local aerospace industry.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to identify training and development opportunities for Indigenous candidates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous organizations and communities to promote the aerospace industry as a career path.

**Requirements**

  • Must be an Indigenous person.
  • Must have a degree or certification in a field related to education, psychology, sociology, behavioral science, human resources, or social work.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have a practical understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Must have experience in recruitment, marketing, or outreach activities.
  • Must have knowledge of local Indigenous communities.
  • Must have a current driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Must be willing to work occasional evenings and/or weekends.
