We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist Assistant to join our Community Mental Health Team in South Warwickshire.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients who have complex mental health needs, providing support and interventions to promote their recovery and well-being.

As a Mental Health Specialist Assistant, you will be working under the supervision of qualified staff, conducting assessments, delivering psycho-educational programs, and supporting patients with their treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in community mental health care, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and deliver interventions to patients with complex mental health needs
  • Support patients with their treatment plans, including developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Work collaboratively with qualified staff to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Foundation degree in Health or Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience working in community mental health care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle for business use
