**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Produce Department Manager to join our team at our Willingdon location in Burnaby, BC. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for leading a team, fostering a positive environment, and driving sales growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead a team of produce department staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and resources to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and a customer-first approach.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve inventory management, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking produce products.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to achieve store goals and objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

**Requirements**

  • Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a produce department.
  • Food Safe Certification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
