Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Produce Stocker, you will play a critical role in ensuring our produce department is fully stocked and visually appealing, while providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zones the produce department to ensure efficient stock rotation and product visibility.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Adheres to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning protocols, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and stocking merchandise.
  • Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Follows Health and Safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise as required.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a cash register.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
