About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at N&M Produce Ltd. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of 5-10 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and competitor activity.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring they meet customer needs and drive sales growth.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily store operations, including inventory management, pricing, and customer service.
  • Financial Management: Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize store performance.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
