Job Title: Senior Office Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Office Coordinator to join our team at S M S Logistics Inc. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to our management team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and have experience with scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and confirm appointments for management team members;
  • Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic inquiries in a professional manner;
  • Order office supplies, maintain inventory levels, and ensure timely restocking;
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems, both physical and digital;
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, including supervising a small team of 5-10 people.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
