Key Responsibilities:- Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process room reservations, cancellations, and changes with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional customer service by offering information on hotel facilities and services, resolving guest complaints, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage guest departures, calculate charges, and process payments with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, to maintain a well-organized front desk area.
- Answer phone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, ensuring seamless communication.
- Assist guests with special needs and provide support to ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Participate in initiatives that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, and Indigenous people, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
