Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Ramada by Wyndham Quesnel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room reservations, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure all necessary information is accurately recorded.
  • Reservation Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with guests.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, to support the smooth operation of the front desk.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and assist guests with special needs in a courteous and efficient manner.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in government or community programs that support veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
