Millwright Red Seal with Power Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Red Seal with Power Engineer certification to join our team at Dessert Holdings Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing mechanical expertise and support for the installation and maintenance of plant equipment and production assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair equipment and parts in the shop, working with other trades groups to complete project assignments.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and in the maintenance shop.
- Knowledge and understanding of Safety requirements and Safety procedures.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret blueprints.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Supporting other maintenance department employees with their job duties if necessary.
- Attending/responding to food process machinery breakdowns in an adequate, effective, and efficient manner.
- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial / AB/ ON/ BC Millwright or Millwright Apprentice.
- Valid Power Engineer Certificate required, with 4th class Power Engineer or 5th class in boiler and refrigeration.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical plant is a definite advantage.
- Working-level proficiency in the English Language, good reading, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overnight shift, and be available for overtime as per business needs.
