About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Ilan Elkeslassy. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Household Management: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Errands and Shopping: Accompany clients on errands and shop for groceries and household essentials.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Urban area, working in the employer's/client's home.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.

  • Reliability: Ability to maintain a regular schedule and attend work as required.
