We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Betty Gabay. As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer them safely to and from beds, chairs, and other locations.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads (up to 9 kg/20 lbs).
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
Working Conditions
