Job Summary

The Suggested Ordering Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of the PDI SA Suggested Ordering tool and store orders by verifying the correct POGs and SKUs are assigned to each store.
  • Learn and train the usage of the PDI Focal Point reporting system to support the Operations and Marketing departments.
  • Analyze site-by-site information to ensure the accuracy of assigned sets.
  • Train the Operations and Marketing team on the SA Suggested Order tool for ordering, scan audits, and sales forecast event adjustments.
  • Maintain delivery schedules in the tool for Wholesaler and DSD suppliers.
  • Support Operations and Marketing for Wholesaler Reclamation events and ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new items and the removal of old/discontinued items from the system.
  • Work with the Senior Director of Replenishment and Distribution to make enhancements to the Suggested Ordering Tool and Focal Point report creation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process performance and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Five to seven years of experience or more preferred, including at least three years of management responsibility.
  • Must be able to travel locally as needed.
  • Must possess a Driver's License and the ability to drive to multiple store locations.
  • Must have a working knowledge of PDI Enterprise software, including Focal Point and store-level PDI Store Assistant.
  • Must be proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate noise level and natural and fluorescent lighting. The successful candidate will work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
