About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Suggested Ordering Manager to join our team at Circle K. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels and optimizing stock control processes within our system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accuracy of the PDI SA Suggested Ordering tool and store orders by assigning the correct POGs and SKUs to each store.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze site by site information to optimize working capital inventory and improve the overall efficiency of our ordering system.
  • Training and Support: Train the Operations and Marketing team on how to use the SA Suggested Order tool for ordering, scan audits, and sales forecast event adjustments.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain delivery schedules in the tool for Wholesaler and DSD suppliers, and troubleshoot ordering and inventory challenges.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Review Days on Hand reporting to identify areas for improvement and optimize inventory levels.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with site managers, district managers, and RDOs to ensure the automated ordering system is working to its maximum efficiency.
  • Process Enhancement: Work with the Senior Director of Replenishment and Distribution to make enhancements to the Suggested Ordering Tool and Focal Point report creation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Five to seven years of experience in inventory management or a related field, including at least three years of management responsibility.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and working knowledge of PDI Enterprise software.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate noise level and natural and fluorescent lighting. The successful candidate will be able to work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
