Cloud Compensation Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer who can take the lead in identifying and solving complex problems. You will own and heavily influence the architecture and design, writing a significant portion of the critical-path code. Your insightful contributions will shape the team's technical and business strategy, ensuring seamless execution of priorities and approach.
As a strong leader, you will prioritize well, communicate clearly, and possess a consistent track record of delivering large-scale solutions. You will be responsible for contributing to all aspects of an agile software development lifecycle, including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
In this role, you will:
- Design, implement, and test software solutions using native AWS technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers and customers to manage requirements for new features and updates to existing systems.
- Partner with the Compensation and Benefits team to translate complex business logic into reusable and scalable code.
- Provide on-call support for ACT systems and coach junior engineers on the team.
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a total compensation package, which includes equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
