About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Electronic Arts. This role is responsible for building and operating distributed, large-scale, cloud-based infrastructure using modern open-source software solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy scalable cloud architecture to support high-availability production-grade infrastructure and applications with defined SLIs and SLOs.
  • Implement automation technologies to ensure repeatability, eliminate toil, reduce mean time to detection and resolution (MTTD & MTTR) and repair services.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and create monitoring, alerting and dashboarding solutions that improve visibility into EA's application performance and business metrics.
  • Produce documentation and support tooling for online support teams.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience with Cloud Computing (AWS preferred), Linux server support, Server Administration, Systems Administration.
  • Experience supporting high-availability production-grade infrastructure and applications with defined SLIs and SLOs.
  • Systems Administration experience, including a strong understanding of Linux / Unix.
  • Network experience, including an understanding of standard protocols/components.
  • Experience writing code in Python, Golang, or Java.
  • Automation and orchestration experience including Terraform, Helm, Chef, Puppet, Packer is a plus.
  • Experience with Virtualization, Containerization, Kubernetes, or Docker is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role in British Columbia ranges from $79,900 to $111,900 CAD. Electronic Arts offers a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation time, sick leave, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan, and more. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
