About the Job

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Cloud Transformation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Public Sector Professional Services group, you will work closely with customers and partners to architect and implement innovative solutions.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned professional with experience leading consulting verticals for Education and Canadian State and Local Government. You will be responsible for capturing opportunity and driving engagement delivery, working closely with partner teams and Director, VP, C-level executives, and governing boards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development initiatives through thought leadership, providing portfolio guidance and oversight.
  • Leverage industry IT trends within the Public Sector space as a strategic advisor to our customers, partners, and internally across AWS.
  • Craft an innovative, forward-looking strategy outlining investment and multi-step go-to-market plans to help AWS customers lead changes in IT strategy, policies, processes, people, governance, and partnerships.
  • Lead business outcomes by articulating accelerated customer outcomes through cloud technologies.

What We Offer

  • An estimated salary range of $126,000/year up to $210,400/year.
  • A total compensation package including equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation.
