Job Description

**Job Title:** Data Policy Director - Player Protection and Game Security Expert

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Data Policy Director to lead our player protection and game security efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive player safety strategy that fosters a safe and protective player experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and Communicate a Vision: Define a clear and compelling vision for player safety that aligns with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage Internal and Public Communication: Develop and execute a communication strategy that effectively communicates our player safety efforts to internal stakeholders and the public.
  • Track and Analyze Player Safety Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our player safety efforts.
  • Conduct Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and threats in the online gaming industry and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure that player safety is integrated into all aspects of our business.

**Requirements:**

  • Senior Management Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the online gaming industry or a related field.
  • First-Hand Experience with Online Communities: Proven experience managing online communities and dealing with user safety stakes.
  • Deep Understanding of Technology and Business: Strong understanding of technology, UX, software development, and business stakes related to digital spaces and the online gaming industry.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
