Lifemark Physiotherapy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Amherst, NS.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to our clients. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess and treat clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement treatment plans and educate clients on safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities
  • Support return-to-work programs and collaborate with the inter-professional team
  • Document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development and FCE Trained
