About the Opportunity

The Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health team is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services portfolio.


The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide assessment, treatment, and evaluation services that promote optimal function and independence.


With a strong focus on patient-centered care, this role will involve developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing education and support, and contributing to a dynamic and interdisciplinary team.


As a respected member of our healthcare team, the Occupational Therapist will be responsible for adhering to Nova Scotia Health policies and procedures, as well as the professional standards of the Nova Scotia College of Occupational Therapists.


To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


We offer a competitive salary range of $33.97 - $42.89 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.


About You

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of respect and safety

Hours and Compensation

  • Permanent, Full-time (100%) - 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Competitive salary range of $33.97 - $42.89 per hour
