Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Bar.B.Q 1988. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of food service staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Inventory and Supplies: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
The successful candidate will work in a noisy, wet/damp, and hot environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
