About the Role

The Director of Sales will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion within the McKesson Independent Retail Banner Network. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, building relationships with key stakeholders, and leading a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive business growth and expansion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and excellence.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities and develop solutions that drive business results.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics.
• Develop and execute Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for self and direct reports to ensure continuous learning and growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or communications.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales leadership or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in driving business growth and expansion through sales strategies and tactics.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience motivating and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills, with ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex business issues and develop creative solutions.
