Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Supervisor to join our team at KA Labour Contractors Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, organizing and directing construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, and managing and supervising landscape construction work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including lawn care, pruning, and weeding
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction work, including hiring and training staff
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in grounds maintenance or landscape construction
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and crouching
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and crouching. Steel-toed safety boots are required.

Experience

Experience in grounds maintenance or landscape construction is an asset. Permanent position with 40 hours per week.
