Job Title: Greenhouse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Greenhouse Supervisor to join our team at KA Labour Contractors Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Greenhouse Supervisor will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, organizing and directing construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, and planning, managing, and supervising landscape construction work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including lawn care, pruning, and weeding.
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, including hiring and supervising contractors.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in greenhouse or landscape construction management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required.
Working Conditions:

The Greenhouse Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical activity. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:

Experience in greenhouse or landscape construction management is an asset. The position is permanent, and the work schedule is 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
