Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Site Coordinator to join our team at FGF Brands. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in supporting our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with employment legislation and company standards.
  • Provide support and coordination in employee relations, recruitment, health and safety, time and attendance, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Act as a liaison between manufacturing, team members, talent and development, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee all agency communications and assist site leaders, operations leaders, shift leaders, and team leaders with team member employee relations.
  • Communicate FGF policies, protocols, and new initiatives to agencies and ensure compliance.
  • Review resumes and coordinate interviews with agencies and operations leaders to ensure key role candidates have the required skill set, availability, and attitude to work in the appropriate plant.
  • Work closely with operations leaders and T&D to determine current and upcoming staffing needs.
  • Track and monitor all temp agency orders, provide feedback and clarification to agencies regarding candidates interviewed, and gather feedback from agencies on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage and oversee all training required documentation for key roles and manage/document training incentive program trackers as required with operations managers per plant.
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot any issues or challenges in conjunction with key stakeholders.
  • Actively participate as a health and safety advocate as required.
  • Oversee team member payroll issues to ensure they are resolved and manage the daily payroll approval process for production team members and manage the time and attendance system for hourly plant staff.
  • Set up new team members in the time and attendance system.
  • Assist with T&D/operations projects as assigned and cover off for other site coordinators as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years related experience in human resources in a manufacturing environment or warehouse.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation specific to Ontario, including the Employment Standards Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Good understanding/working knowledge of HR policies/procedures and employee relations.
  • Proven competency in the operation of key office software and productivity tools, including the MS Office suite of tools and HRIS.
  • Experience/knowledge of WSIB.
  • Valid driver's license required.
