We are seeking an Office Administrative Assistant to join our team at SAB TERA CONSTRUCTION INC.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for direct and controlling daily office operations, evaluating their effectiveness, and implementing improvements where necessary. They will also be responsible for opening and distributing mail and other materials, scheduling and confirming appointments, answering telephone calls and messages, responding to employee questions and complaints, ordering office supplies, maintaining inventory, performing data entry, and providing customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: The ideal candidate should have 1-6 months of experience in a similar role.

Work Setting: This position is based in a fast-paced construction environment.

Tasks: Some of the key tasks involved in this role include:

  • Directing and controlling daily office operations
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of daily operations and implementing improvements
  • Opening and distributing mail and other materials
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Answering telephone calls and messages
  • Responding to employee questions and complaints
  • Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
  • Performing data entry
  • Providing customer service

Computer and Technology Knowledge: The successful candidate should have proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and electronic mail.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The ideal candidate should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Personal Suitability: We are looking for someone who can multitask, has excellent oral communication skills, is flexible, and a team player with good time management and dependability skills.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a permanent position with 35-40 hours of work per week.

Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
