About the Role

The Healthcare Support Associate will play a vital role in supporting the clinical staff by performing various non-clinical tasks, such as setting up patient rooms, stocking medical supplies, and arranging nursing carts. This new role aims to improve workflow efficiencies and enable nurses to focus on direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and return unwanted items from the Emergency Department
  • Prepare patient rooms for admissions, including medical supply checks and equipment checks
  • Receive and organize non-catalog medical supplies
  • Arrange nursing carts and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies
  • Support ED staff with medical supply needs

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
