Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

Kenny's Nail Spa is seeking a skilled Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of nail technicians to achieve high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedule for nail technicians to ensure efficient use of resources and meet customer demand.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high-quality standards in nail services, products, and customer experience.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Oversee the cleaning and sanitation of equipment, tools, and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, train, and develop the skills of nail technicians to ensure they meet company standards and provide excellent customer service.
  • Client Focus: Foster a client-focused culture by ensuring exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback, and implementing improvements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a nail salon or related field.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and team collaboration.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Recruitment: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Credential Recognition: Assist newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
Support for Youths:
  • On-the-Job Training: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Cultural Competency: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Awareness Training: Provide cultural competency and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment.
