Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

Kenny's Nail Spa is seeking a skilled Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of nail technicians to achieve high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedule for nail technicians to ensure efficient use of resources and meet customer demand.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high-quality standards in nail services, products, and customer experience.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Oversee the cleaning and sanitation of equipment, tools, and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Mechanical Equipment: Supervise the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of nail technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a nail salon or related field.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, client focus, efficiency, flexibility, initiative, and teamwork.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
Support for Youths:
  • Offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities for youth.

Work Environment: 40 hours per week, permanent position.
