About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Designer to join our team at JMP Solutions in Canada. As a key member of our Systems Design Team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing automation solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop automation solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of customer processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement functional design plans that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Lead and participate in risk assessment and risk mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure that automation solutions meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our automation solutions are innovative and effective.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in systems design, automation, and robotics.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex automation projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical skills in areas such as motion controls, robots, vision systems, and project engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science, or a related field.
