Job Summary

Bento Sushi is seeking a skilled and experienced Head Cook to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, supervising kitchen staff and helpers, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and organized.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with our culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
