Job Title: Bartender - Thousand Islands

Are you a people person with a passion for providing exceptional customer service? Do you have a flair for mixing and serving beverages? We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exceed guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service
  • Mix and serve beverages to guests
  • Help create a welcoming and engaging work environment
  • Inform guests of daily specials and make recommendations
  • Take orders and serve guests
  • Resolve guest issues or ask for management assistance if required
  • Present bills and take payments
  • Clean tables and counters, remove glasses, and re-stock the bar as required
  • Cover other bartenders' sections as required
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
Requirements:
  • Current internal food and beverage employee
  • People-focused and committed to service excellence
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed
  • High School Diploma; Post-Secondary hospitality or hotel education an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
  • Bartending and serving experience preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • Smart Serve Certificate
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate in French language considered an asset
