We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceed guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service
  • Help create a positive and engaging work environment
  • Inform guests of daily specials and make recommendations
  • Prepare and serve beverages
  • Resolve guest issues and ensure satisfaction
  • Present bills and take payments
  • Clean and maintain the bar area
  • Cover other bartenders' sections as needed
  • Liaise with operational departments and ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements:

  • Current internal food & beverage employee
  • People-focused and committed to service excellence
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed
  • High School Diploma; Post-Secondary hospitality or hotel education an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
  • Bartending and serving experience preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • Smart Serve Certificate
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate in French language considered an asset
